That's semi-correct. You won't have access to all the gear but to most of the best gear available. Such as HB8,RAPTOR8,AVEDON8,Shells8

FARM BETA was a replica of how official should be looking. (-the issues and the necessery updates and corrections) and that means there is no shells in the begining of the official.
During PK BETA everyone will start with all the weapons, and specific armors that we choosed. So for mage that is Paper Black Set & Crimson Set.

There is one difference, we've decided to use +7 items and not +8

You are unable to upgrade to +8 during beta. Maximum is +7 and +1 for rebirth.
