I honestly feel like Genie is a very powerful tool. But I also feel like it removes a large aspect of the game. Farming is a pivotal part of KO, always has been, which is why KOXP gets you banned everywhere.

In PK it is in invaluable tool for mages. I can run with genie on and have warriors tp to me from anywhere in the zone to descend on someone attacking me (im a mage). That is only one exploit (not tested) that I can think of, on a server where mages will be top tier, this is a problem.

I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but that is the point of a forums. Open debate. I feel like we should talk about removing genie.

Hello, it's great that you've opened topic for discussion. Hopefully more people can reply to you.
As for my current view.
- Genie is important part of the game for majority of players, they will never agree to have it removed, genie is in the game because of the players that demand it.
As for mage abusing genie? Well you can't attack while being on genie, you can't go to bowl with genie, technically you can leave a mage somewhere and use genie to teleport players, but people are doing that even without genie.. And whoever have mage on genie somewhere he is easy target to be killed.

that makes me feel a whole lot better. I hadn't tried it yet, just brain storming how to make things better, but yes I agree, the player base would revolt.

In my opinion genie should be totally removed from CZ - It doesn't belong there in the first place. I dont care too much about the other zones but CZ should be totally free from any kind of auto/afk options. Same goes for bifrost, JR and other special event.
CZ should not be infested by people afk farming. Sure there is a risk of being killed by enemy nation but i really feel like CZ should be for people actively playing the game.

There are probably other people with different views but at least consider changing it. Maybe even make a poll to see what people think about it.

I noticed there are certain areas in CZ where Genie doesn't work. I agree, remove it entirely from CZ.
